Great lens for the money : Canon WCDC58N Wide Angle Converter Lens Adapter for Canon A710, A700, A640, A630, A610, A620, A720IS, G3, G5 & G6 Digital Cameras
As mentioned in old reviews, this lens gets in the way of the viewfinder on most of the products it fits, so it is critical to use the lcd for permissible framing, and you truly need to use an external flash for indoor shots. Despite this,it makes wide angle shots inherent on a fixed lens camera, which is what it was designed for. Without an external flash, you will taste black spots. Edge distortion is minimal, and even with a Slr/wide angle lens combination, your going to taste a similar result. How many times have you tried to picture a room and not been able to get much of the room in the picture? This lens definitely helps in that situation. Outdoors is where this conversion lens truly shines, creating a scenery effect. Hope this info helps whatever on the fence about investing in this product.
